Please report rain or shine. Weather systems can develop quickly, but the event weather team monitors conditions before and throughout the show.

Look for signs directing you to TeamCROWN Volunteer Parking, shown in pink on the parking map.

Enter from Reynolds Boulevard, turn onto Whitaker Park Drive, and proceed to the lot at the corner of West 32nd Street and Whitaker Park Drive.

You must be a registered volunteer to enter the volunteer lot. No parking pass is required. Courtesy golf carts will transport volunteers from the parking area to Bridger Field House.

Do not enter the adjacent corps or prop lots. Spectators should be directed to the LJVM Coliseum lots.

Volunteer Check-In: 11:00 AM–12:45 PM at Bridger Field House. Follow the Crown Volunteer signs.

Volunteer Lunch: 11:30 AM–12:45 PM at Bridger Field House.

Mandatory Meeting: 1:00 PM at Bridger Field House.

A volunteer group photograph will be taken immediately after the meeting. Team captains will then provide brief task training, review work areas and explain assignment timing.

Dress for hot weather. Khaki shorts, comfortable tennis shoes and socks are recommended. You will receive an event shirt and must wear it throughout the event so guests can identify you as a volunteer.

CrownCLUB Concessions volunteers: Wear black pants or neat black shorts, black shoes—preferably non-slip—and your volunteer shirt.

Dinner: Available beginning at 6:00 PM at Bridger Field House and in the field area. Sub sandwiches and chips will be provided.

Please begin with no more than two sandwich pieces so everyone is served before additional portions are taken.

Snacks and drinks will be available during the event at Bridger Field House and in the field area. Stay hydrated throughout the day.

You are an official representative of Carolina Crown. Every guest should receive welcoming, courteous and excellent customer service.

NightBEAT’s success depends greatly on caring volunteers. Be proactive, helpful and respectful, and refer unfamiliar questions to your team captain or event leadership.

When you are off duty, you may watch performances from the lower area of Sections 1 or 10.

Do not enter or leave the seating area while a corps is performing. If a performance has started, remain at the top of the stairs until it ends. Keep conversations to a minimum during performances, but cheering for the corps is encouraged.

Collect all belongings left at the volunteer check-in area before leaving.

If your assignment requires a vest, remove it at the end of the event, keep your name tag, fold the vest and place it in the proper return bin.

Volunteers are encouraged to help pack event materials. The Events Team departs Monday morning to prepare for Brass at the Beach in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday, so your help with an efficient breakdown is greatly appreciated.

Listen before transmitting. Identify your team or radio name, keep messages brief and confirm critical instructions.

For an immediate life-safety emergency, call 911 and notify Event Operations. Do not move an injured person unless there is immediate danger.

All spectators and school buses park in the LJVM Coliseum lots. Fan parking is available in the LJVM lots across the street from Deacon Boulevard.

Guests should enter the fan parking area from University Parkway or Coliseum Drive / Northwest 27th Street. There is no entrance to fan parking from Deacon Boulevard.

Parking attendants should direct spectators away from restricted corps, prop, TeamCROWN, VIP and disabled parking areas.

Disabled parking is located on the west side of the McCreary Tower lot. A valid disability placard or plate is required.

VIP parking is located on the east side of the McCreary Tower lot and in the baseball lot. A NightBEAT VIP parking credential is required.

The McCreary Tower entrance from Deacon Boulevard serves disabled and VIP traffic. The designated drop-off zone is for loading and unloading only—no parking.

Safety takes priority over every other operational need. Parking personnel may halt traffic in any direction to protect pedestrians and safely place large vehicles.

Keep vehicle types separated whenever possible. When a corps convoy is entering or being placed, all nearby traffic must yield until parking staff releases the area.

Remain visible, keep assigned posts staffed and prevent unauthorized entry into restricted lots.

All corps vehicles enter from Reynolds Boulevard. Corps should set GPS to 1028 Reynolds Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC.

Parking staff will place corps fleets in the Gold lot, generally in a single-file configuration that permits independent departure. Overflow corps parking may use the upper Blue lot if available.

Private vehicles are not permitted in the corps or prop lots. Smaller fleet or personal vehicles with the correct DCI parking credential will be directed to the TeamCROWN lot.

Corps departure: Exit via West 32nd Street onto Shorefair Drive.

Prop parking: Corps prop trucks park in the Red lot.

Prop/electronics staging: Equipment may be pre-staged curbside along the drive between corps parking and the stadium. Keep all equipment tight to the curb so emergency and departing-vehicle access remains open. Nothing may enter the gated staging area before the assigned report time.

Warm-up: Use the designated areas adjacent to the office buildings north of the parking area. No warm-up activity is permitted in corps parking, prop parking or travel lanes.

The front-side corps gate is for pit and electronics. The back-side gate is for corps proper, guard and props. Deviations must be approved by a field lead.

Portable restrooms are located in the northwest corner of the corps lot near the back-side corps gate. The adjacent office buildings and field house are not available to corps for restroom, shower or water access.

Credentialed personnel may use stadium restrooms through the main stadium entrance. Corps gates do not provide access to spectator seating or concourse areas.

Bottled water will be available outside the corps staging areas after each performance. A dumpster will be available in the corps lot.
